Sinai to Zion

                Have you ever stood at the bottom of a mountain and looked up? The giant mass of rock and ice towers above you, blocking the sky from your view and making you feel as if you were the least important creature on earth. The mountain peak is not even visible as a massive cliff soars above your head, its sheer side polished and shining as if it were on fire. You wish to reach the top, but your own insignificance overwhelms you, dwarfed by a seemingly unattainable goal.

Forever Steadfast

In a letter my Daddy wrote me for my 18th birthday, he referenced, "your talent for writing (you got that from your Mama) and your gift of gab (you got that from me ;) )". And I can see what he means. Like Daddy, I am often the last one back to the car after an event. And like Mama, I naturally drift into writing when I'm happy, sad, or contemplative.

That week there were a lot of people. And by ‘a lot’, I mean A LOT. Joel and Roxy (my awesome cousins!) run amazing camps that are always booked full, and when the bookings are by homeschooled, Christian families, it pretty much guarantees a large amount of people. The more the merrier!
